Selena Gomez has been talking about the importance of being confident.

In an interview with Access Hollywood the ‘Come and Get It’ singer revealed that she believes self-assurance is the most striking aspect about women.

Gomez explained: “I think the most attractive thing about a woman, for me, is confidence.”

She continued: “So, because I turned 21 this year and a lot of great things have happened for me, that's the one thing I want to exude.”

The ‘Spring Breakers’ star also opened up about her new image as she stated:

“I've become a bit more about the red lip and being a little bit more - I like to say confident, as opposed to sexy, even though that's what I feel.”

Selena also stressed that her more mature look is a change she is happy with as she confirmed: “I feel very comfortable in my skin.”

Selena Gomez’s ‘Stars Dance’ world tour begins on August 14 and will visit the UK in September.
