Selena Gomez on growing up in the spotlight: 'I don't know if I've made the transition yet'

'Come & Get It' beauty Selena Gomez has admitted that she's having trouble making the transition from former child star to adult pop songstress.

During an interview with JLS hitmaker Marvin Humes on 'Lorraine', she confessed that moving from Disney actress to serious recording artist is tough and she's still trying to feel comfortable with the change as people still see her as an innocent 'Wizards of Waverly Place' cast member:

"I think everybody has a journey and you feel you have to love at the end of the day. There is not really a formula. I don't really know if I have fully made the transition yet."

"I feel like half the time I feel like I'm 15 and then I feel like I'm 21 then I feel like I'm 30 when I'm sitting at home by myself on a Friday night watching the same episode of 'Friends'."

Earlier this week, she confessed that it's also tough to be taken seriously as a pop act: "It’s hard to be a rockstar when you’re a pop artist. I can’t be like, super-hardcore and then think, ‘Ok, well I’m in a pink sparkly dress.’ I say my rockstar version is like the PG-13 version. I don’t judge people. To each their own."
