Jack Osbourne has lent weight to speculation that Sharon Osbourne could take part in Strictly Come Dancing.

The music mogul is a judge on ITV's X Factor but she could jump ship to rivals BBC for the dancing reality show.

Speaking to The Sun, Osbourne's son Jack said that his mother has previously come close to taking part in the programme.

However, he said she would be a good participant on the show despite possibly enduring the wrath of X Factor head Simon Cowell:

"She's not afraid of Simon, I don't think she'd be bothered if she annoyed him by taking part in Strictly. And she'd be great."

Jack Osbourne meanwhile came third on the 2013 series of US show Dancing With The Stars.
