John Fisher and the IDMC Gospel Choir confirm headline Christmas show

The London born choir has announced their gospel Christmas show on 10th December at the Crystal Palace Open Doors. Fisher and IDMC welcome a variety of special guests: MOBO and multi-award winning artist Lurine Cato, Nate Simpson 2016 X Factor contestant, and British comedienne Angie La Mer. 

Fisher and IDMC are performing songs from their latest album as well as Christmas favourites to celebrate the festive season. 

Earlier this year, they released their ninth album "Live and Phat" Volume Three: Walk With Me. They toured 10 countries in Europe and performed with Matt Goss at his recent sell out tour in the U.K.

Biographies
IDMC were formed in 1993 by John Fisher as a Church gospel choir, growing into a worldwide ministry. Consisting of 30 core members, having 9 albums spanning over 20 years experience, IDMC's popularity has grown strongly over the years. IDMC performance highlights include touring with Michael Buble, Matt Goss, Jahmene, Jason Mraz, and the Thrillier Live theatre production. Recently completing their European tour this year, they are busy planning a worldwide tour in 2017.

John Fisher is the founder and leader of IDMC Gospel Choir, musician, director/founder of children's singing school "We Sing U Sing", minister of music, singing teacher and an influential member of the UK gospel music scene. In his own right, he has performed with Chaka Khan, Ruby Turner, Ronan Keating, Candi Staton, Cece Winans, Sharlene Spiteri and many more. Performance highlights include Glastonbury, Capital Radio Christmas live, GMTV, VH1 and Songs of Praise.

Nate Simpson is an up and coming soul singer who made it to the judges houses on ITV's X Factor 2016. He is currently signed to Opaque Management and performed at his first headlining gig at Proud Camden in October with special guests Freddy Parker, supported by Franklin Lake, Soheila Clifford and Jack Morlen. He is currently in the studio working on his debut album with Kiko Legendary and Jay Henry. 

Angie La Mer is a British comedienne primarily and an actress, writer, director, presenter, producer and inspirational speaker. La Mer has been in the comedy business over 30 years and has performed at Up the Creek, Jongleurs, The Comedy Store as well as her own sell out show 'Off the Hook' at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2000. La Mer has received international recognition after performing at The Comedy Act Theatre in New York. In 2010 celebrated 25 years in the business with "An Audience with Angie La Mer" at the Barbican Theatre.  

Lurine Cato is a British gospel singer based in London. Cato has won 8 awards including a MOBO award (Best Gospel Act), a BEFFTA award (Best Gospel Act), Premier Gospel award (Best Female Artist), and a GMA award (Best International Artist of the Year). She has sang for The Queen and other world leaders; performed with Andrea Bocelli, Enrique Iglesias, Mary J Blige, Adele, Kylie Minogue and many others. Cato is promoting her latest album "Chosen to Serve" which is out now.
