Sia could release new music next week.

The singer and hit songwriter uploaded a picture to her Facebook of her trademark hair along with the date of March 17, 2014.

She simply added: "Coming soon."

It has been suggested that the Australian could unleash new music on this date or confirm plans to release a new record.

Sia's last full solo album came in the shape of 2010's 'We Are Born'.

The singer has written such songs in the past few years as Rihanna's 'Diamonds' and Britney Spears' 'Perfume'.

She has also featured as a vocalist on the likes of David Guetta's smash hit 'Titanium'.
