LA Gay & Lesbian Center confirms Sia will donate proceeds from Eminem duet

The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center have confirmed that Sia will give some of the proceeds from sales of her new Eminem collaboration 'Beautiful Pain' to the facility.

News of the Australian's thoughtful donation emerged at the start of the month after she discussed Eminen's alleged homophobia with a writer on Twitter.

She said at the time: "I know personally that he is not homophobic, but a performance artist. I would never work with someone I believed to be homophobic. I respect that he can be misinterpreted in the worst way by the ignorami, and that scares me, but I respect him as an artist and person."

Eminem recently came under fire for apparently promoting homophobia on his new track 'Rap God', which uses the terms 'faggot' and 'gay-looking'.

The US rapper denied the suggestion in an interview with Rolling Stone. Both 'Rap God' and 'Beautiful Pain' feature on Eminem's new record 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2'.

The LA Gay & Lesbian Center have now taken Twitter to confirm Sia's donation plans, saying:

"Titanium' artist @Sia donating portion of proceeds from new song w/ @Eminem to the Center."
