Simon Cowell on Harry Styles' music plans: 'He won't rush into anything'

Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed that One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has producers and songwriters lining up to work with him now that the boyband are taking a break.

Cowell told Billboard that while there's a lot of interest, Styles is unlikely to rush into anything and he believes that the young star would make a good decision in terms of the new music he might be wanting to make:

"He'll work out what kind of record he wants to make because he's got great taste -- which is always a help. All the writers and producers want to work with him, understandably, but he probably won't rush into it."

Songstress Meghan Trainor, meanwhile, wrote a song called 'Someday Maybe' with Styles and told Britain's Daily Star newspaper that she expects him to go onto do big things:

"We have mutual friends – he’s signed to CAA like me and Adele. CAA do everything, movies, sport, and are kind people, they nurture your career and he will be huge. Harry is killing it out here in the US, songwriting for Ariana Grande and myself – he’s really talented. I can’t wait to hear what he’s got going.”
