New Release: NJ Taylor “So You” Single/Video/Remix

Montreal pop artist, NJ Taylor, is thrilled to release the official video for her single “So You” currently at Canadian and U.K. commercial radio.  The single off her self-titled EP, released earlier this month has already been nominated for the 2015 Hollywood Music in Media Awards in the Pop category and a lyric video has generated over 75,000 YouTube views. 

Along with the radio edit there is an acoustic and remix version of “So You” available and all three versions have made the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Contest. The pop filled single was written by NJ and her collaborator, San Francisco based, Adien Lewis with whom she collaborates with via skype. 

Directed and edited by Rich Misener and produced by Cut Cartel, NJ details that making a video for “So You” was initially not in the plans. “The video was never technically going to be made,” she explains, ““So You” was semi released in 2014 and I was going to release “Pop Army” now, however, my team in the UK thought that it was a great song to introduce me to the UK market. Because of that, I decided at the very last minute to make a video for “So You”.

With a catchy flow, “So You” has her singing to her boyfriend, letting him know how she feels about him never being there for her. The video shows exactly that—NJ singing to the camera and crying out to her love interest.
