Billy Corgan opens tea shop in Chicago

Smashing Pumpkins' frontman Billy Corgan has embraced his business skills and opened a tea shop in his native Chicago.

The 'Bullet With Butterfly Wings' star launched the exciting venture today (September 13) with live sets being performed in the building and he explained that he wanted to open a tea shop so that people could spend time there without boundaries:

"I'm a tea guy and living in Highland Park since 2003, I've always wanted to open a salon like this for everyone to enjoy."

Referring to the décor and atmosphere, he added: "This is a place with no age boundaries. We hope to attract everyone from young students to seniors. With a blend of music, photo galleries, art displays and speakers, I think Madame ZuZu's offers something for everyone."

Meanwhile, the Smashing Pumpkins recently released some new tour dates at which they will perform their album 'Oceania' in full along with playing older material.

The first show will take place on September 22 in Mexico City and the final concert is scheduled to be held at Hartford's Mohegan Sun casino on November 4.
