Mau makes his mark on the Afrobeats scene with latest track 'Miss Beautiful'

Mau makes his mark on the Afrobeats scene, blending the upbeat style with his message of a call for change.

Having pledged to use his “voice as a tool for change”, 2015 is destined to be the year Mau makes good on this promise. With his standing as a social activist, campaigning for subjects such domestic violence and Child abuse, Mau works closely with charities, building on the spiritual upbringing by his family in Malawi.

With a strong musical foundation built in the UK scene already, having sung at a Black History event for Nelson Mandela, and having worked with Claire Fuller (American Pop Idol), Hez Thou (Big Brovaz) and Khethi, having also gained support from a number of patrons at the Academy of Contemporary Music, all of which support a beautiful future for Mau.

‘Miss Beautiful’, the first single from Mau’s upcoming, as yet untitled, EP has already turned heads with its fresh take on the Afrobeats genre. With this and a number of other releases planned for the year, Mau sets the scene for a number of fantastic tracks that promise to speak to the ears and hearts of those striving for equality.
