Cristian MJC drops visuals for debut single, True Colours (ft. Lydia Lucy)

Rapper/singer/songwriter/athlete/model/medical student Cristian MJC (born Matthew James Clarkson) is due to release his long awaited debut single ‘True Colours’ with a touching video, featuring a cameo from his girlfriend, reality star & model Jasmine Lennard.

Cristian MJC had a rocky start in life. He was poised to represent Great Britain in swimming at the 2012 London Olympics, training up to 7 times a week before and after school. Sadly, at aged 14 Cristian suffered numerous injuries and his strict swimming regime suffered. Disheartened, he fell in with the wrong crowd and scrapes with the law came all too often. Fortunately, it was this difficult time that led Cristian to meet likeminded artists and cultivate his own style. His passion grew and Cristian started to invest more time and money into turning his hobby into his career.

"Music really helped develop my ambition and passion when I was going through a rough time at school. I wrote True Colours when I was 16, just when I started to feel confident in my own style. It’s about falling for a friend and the video features my girlfriend Jasmine who I fell for on Big Brother last year." - Cristian MJC

True Colours is Cristian’s debut single and has already been featured by RWD Magazine to 100k readers. Cristian was a finalist in Big Brother 2015 and now has a loyal fanbase of 140k and rising. Now working with some of the biggest names in music (award winning producer Darren Martin and The Voice finalist Lydia Lucy) the industry eagerly awaits the release of True Colours.
