Offbeat South - Let You Go Video

OFFBEAT SOUTH ft. Hannah Burton - Let You Go

Talented, Young and Exciting are just 3 words to describe this 7 piece London band.

OFFBEAT SOUTH bring you their unique hybrid mix of Urban, Pop and Rock.

They gained national success by winning The Jamie Cullum's Big Audition with Pizza Express in November 2011 which brought with it huge support for the band from the likes of Clive Davis (The Times’ music critic) and Sir Michael Parkinson who expressed that the group “defined the joy of music making”, Davis commented “this is a band I couldn’t put in a box”.

Since storming the competition, Offbeat South went on to sell-out their 3-night residency at The Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street, Soho.

An earlier incarnation of the band also appeared on the T4 Hollyoaks Music Show alongside Craig David and Example in 2010 with the band founder Anton Browne on vocals and they also played the O2 Academy Islington later that year.

So far this year has seen collaborations with established artists within the Grime scene, such as Pepstar, Startzy and Pane & Yardz. Simultaneously, they have been hard at work in the studio in preparation for the release of their first EP ‘Breakaway’ which is due for release in the summer 2012. Oh and just for the record... they write, produce, mix & master all of their own tracks.

The bands versatility and cross-over potential is not just displayed through their passion to collaborate with a mixture of different artists and performers but is also evident in their ability to perform acoustically in more intimate venues. Online Acoustic performances/videos include covers from Labrinth (Last Time) and Timbaland (Scream).
