'Whatever You Like' hitmaker T.I. recently came to the rescue of a woman involved in a shocking car accident earlier this week, but revealed that she was more excited that he appeared than she was about being safe and well. 

Speaking to TMZ about the encounter, the rapper explained that he was pulling into a Popeye's fast food joint in Inglewood when he witnessed a cab smash into an SUV, causing the sports utililty vehicle to turn on its side, so rushed over to help. 

As soon as he peered into the car, the woman recognised him and he joked that she asked: "Is that T.I.?"

He went on to admit that he stayed with her until the ambulance arrived, but decided to visit a different Popeye's in the end because "that one had too much going on".

The woman, who remains unnamed, told TMZ reporters that she was upside down in the vehicle when T.I. approached her and she had to confess that she wasn't wearing underwear, to which he replied: "Don't worry, we won't look."
