“I can’t complain” c/w “Hold me”

The name Jay Tamkin may seem familiar; at 26 years old he is considered to be one of the best guitarists and vocalists on the blues circuit and has been touring the UK and Europe continuously for a number of years playing his original songs and his take on the blues material with his three piece band.

As well as releasing two full length albums, Jay has also appeared on the Paul Jones weekly blues show on Radio Two, played at numerous festivals across Europe and toured with many “names” in the blues field.

However, towards the end of 2012 Jay signed to Tabitha Records and has written a whole batch of new songs and his promo single “I can’t complain” c/w “Hold me” sees Jay taking a whole new direction.

Jay said, “It’s great to be able to play my new material acoustically and to interpret and record my songs as a solo performer. My deal with Tabitha has given me more control of what and how I record my songs.”

Jay has already recorded a full length interview and acoustic set for NBC in the USA which will be transmitted across America during the winter.

To promote his acoustic music Jay will be touring radio and televisions studios around the UK playing his music live.
