The Vamps on taking the perfect 'selfie': 'Preferably topless and with a little pout'

'Wild Heart' singers The Vamps recently sat down for a quick chat with Showbiz 411 and opened up about taking the perfect selfie along with their plans for the next 12 months.

Member James McVey explained that he's becoming quite skilled at taking the perfect selfie: "I'm actually getting pretty good at these. Preferably no top, just get the shoulders in... and you want to, like, get it from above. And you want to do a little bit of a pout so you can show off your cheekbones!"

The lads then opened up about their intentions for 2014, confirming that their debut record is due to be released this spring: "Our album's out in April, isn't it guys? 'Wild Heart', our second single, has just come out. Third single and an album, musically!"

McVey then added: "Within the next month we'll be announcing our own tour, which will be towards the end of the year."

The Vamps were due to perform on Radio 1 for a Live Lounge sessions tomorrow (January 23), but they've had to cancel because band member Brad Simpson has caught the flu.
