The Vamps confirmed for the Isle of Wight Festival

'Can We Dance' heartthrobs The Vamps have been confirmed as one of the bands to perform at this year's Isle of Wight Festival, which will take place in the summer.

The rising stars will play a live set at the event, which will run from June 12-15, alongside some of music's hottest acts including Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Biffy Clyro. Tickets are available now from the festival's official website.

The lads also recently announced details of their first ever headlining performance in America, which will be at the Gramercy Theatre in New York later this month, and it has already sold out.

2014 has proven to be a huge year for the band already as they just won MTV's Brand New for 2014 poll, they're currently performing a series of support slots with Taylor Swift on her 'Red' tour, and they also confessed that their debut album should be released in the spring.

Member James McVey took to his Twitter page last night and admitted that the run of dates with country-pop superstar Swift is going well so far: "Tonight was UNREAL. The show was SICK. Also, @taylorswift13 , you cheer pretty good for someone who doesn't know Super Bowl. #cheerleader."
