UK based band The Vamps are currently in the U.S. and stopped by a popular morning chat show earlier today to make their first ever American TV appearance. 

The lads performed their first stateside headlining concert last night (February 19) at New York's Gramercy Theatre and went straight to the set of 'Live with Kelly and Michael' this morning for a special guest spot.

Along with posting several photographs from the exciting event (pictured below), the heartthrobs also tweeted a message to their followers to let them know how great it was to be asked to go on the show: 

"Soooo much fun on @KellyandMichael - we will post a link later to watch it back! Love the USA."

Following their set in New York, member James McVey took to his own social networking page and told his fans that they make what he does feel completely worthwhile: "A girl told me 10 minutes ago that this band, which I dreamt of creating, saved her life. I am blown away by being able to help people. X <3"
