The Vamps thank Taylor Swift for her hospitality in America

British group The Vamps have revealed that country-pop superstar Taylor Swift was very "welcoming" to them while they were in Los Angeles recently.

Member James McVey, who is a huge self-confessed fan of the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty, posted a cute photograph to his official Instagram page (shown below) and accompanied it with the following caption that referenced her cat's frightened expression: "Huge thanks to @taylorswift13 for being so welcoming in LA. Sorry if I scared you Meredith."

Bass player Connor Ball took to his own Twitter page earlier this afternoon (March 3) and told his followers that he's really happy to be home in England after the band's stateside jaunt: "I missed the UK. Home sweet home."

The Vamps, meanwhile, revealed that Swift taught them a lot when they were supporting her at London's O2 Arena: "First of all, she was really confident when she was speaking to the audience. Secondly her stage band was also amazing. I think we kind of strive to be that together on stage. Her crew was so friendly and welcoming. So Taylor taught us a lot."
