The Vamps reveal what sets them apart from the rest

'Last Night' heartthrobs The Vamps recently sat down for a new interview and opened up about what makes them special.

When asked by Pop Crush what sets them apart from their contemporaries, member James McVey admitted that they have a lot of creative control where writing their own material is concerned and they are also all musicians:

"Not many people have bass players that have skin like Connor... in all seriousness, I guess we write our own stuff and play our instruments, so hopefully that separates us from boybands for example. We hope people just like us anyway."

The group was then asked about supporting Taylor Swift back in February during her run of dates at London's O2 Arena and Brad Simpson explained that she was very friendly and accommodating: "She was very good live - how well she sounded and performed - and her morals, and how nice she was to her support acts... that was nice to see."

The Vamps are also gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut album, 'Meet The Vamps', and it will be available from April 14.
