The Vamps say their non-single tracks are less "poppy"

The Vamps believe the songs on their album that have not been released as singles are less "poppy".

The band released their debut record 'Meet The Vamps' on Monday (April 14).

It features three singles - 'Can We Dance', 'Wild Heart' and 'Last Night' - which all broke into the top three of the UK chart.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the group said that they feel those tracks aren't so representative of their general output.

Brad Simpson said: "They're just different. They're not as poppy in a way."

Drummer Tristan Evans added: "They're more alternative - each song is a bit different."

The Vamps' album meanwhile managed to chart at No.2 on this week's midweek UK chart update.
