The Vamps tell fans to calm down as signing session becomes mobbed

The Vamps were forced to tell their fans to calm down after a signing became rowdy.

The band are today (April 17) meeting fans at Claire's Accessories on London's Oxford Street, but it seems a plethora of fans and onlookers have turned up.

The group took to Twitter to state that the event could be cancelled as a result of overcrowding.

They said: "PLEASE can you calm down as it's getting dangerous. Police threatening to shut down. We can't even try to start until the doorway is clear."

Claire's later took to Twitter to confirm that they had to cut the queue - however, they are giving fans a 30% discount on Vamps products on their website to make up for the move.

The Vamps meanwhile are currently promoting their debut album 'Meet The Vamps', which was released on Monday (April 14).

The record features their three singles 'Can We Dance', 'Wild Heart' and 'Last Night'.
