The Vamps "can't wait" for debut headlining tour

UK based pop-rock group The Vamps have revealed that they are so excited for their upcoming headlining tour later this autumn because they can't wait to perform songs from their newly released debut album, 'Meet The Vamps'.

Writing on their collective Twitter page this afternoon (April 20), the heartthrobs explained that tickets for all of the dates are due to go on sale next Saturday and the first show can't come soon enough: "EEEEK!!! Our your goes on sale next Sat at 10am! Can't wait to play our album live around the country! Happy Easter."

The 'Last Night' hitmakers also recently spoke to the Chronicle Live about finding success without having been involved in a television music contest such as 'The X Factor' and admitted that they have just worked really hard to get where they are:

"Totally. We found each other, we used YouTube and social networking as a platform rather than a television talent show, we gigged a lot and supported lots of acts. We’ve taken every opportunity that comes our way, basically."

The first date of the will take place at Sheffield's City Hall on September 23 and member Bradley Simpson told Capital FM that it'll be a 'surprising and exciting' tour:

"Bradley Simpson said: "We cannot wait to get out on our first tour, it's going to be amazing. There'll be a lot of energy on stage. We want to do something fun, we want it to be a show not just, like, a standard gig. We want people to be surprised and excited."
