The Vamps thank fans after album hits No.2

The Vamps have thanked their fans for making their debut album reach No.2 in the UK.

The band unleashed 'Meet The Vamps' last Monday (April 14) and it took the silver medal when Sunday's (April 20) final chart was revealed.

Whilst it didn't beat Paolo Nutini's 'Caustic Love', the record performed well and the band took to Twitter to say:

"Thanks to everyone who has supported us for the last two years. Having a top 3 album is incredible. We owe you guys everything! X."

Guitarist James McVey said: "Goodnight :) thanks so much to everyone who purchased our album, seriously means so much to me. Love you lots and lots :)."

Their album meanwhile features the singles 'Can We Dance', 'Wild Heart' and 'Last Night'.
