Guitarist James McVey, of The Vamps fame, has revealed that he has a real affection for American girls in a new Twitter post. 

Writing on the social networking site earlier this afternoon (April 25), the heartthrob explained that females from the USA have a huge appeal to him, although he quickly added that he likes all girls in general:

"I like American girls. Strike that- I like girls."

Meanwhile, the lads' debut headlining UK tour is due to go on general sale tomorrow morning and member Tristan Evans shared his excitement in a Twitter update, which reads: "Ahhhhhh 10AM tomorrow our first ever headline tour goes on sale! Who's coming?"

The Vamps' frontman Brad Simpson recently told Capital FM that their tour will be surprising: "We cannot wait to get out on our first tour, it's going to be amazing. There'll be a lot of energy on stage. We want to do something fun, we want it to be a show not just, like, a standard gig. We want people to be surprised and excited."
