The Vamps begin work on a second album

British pop-rock band The Vamps may have only just released their highly anticipated debut studio album, but they are already working on new material for a follow-up offering.

'Meet The Vamps' was released earlier this month and entered the UK albums chart at No.2, but member James McVey has revealed to fans via Twitter that they're back in the studio to record a brand new song that will be for their sophomore effort:

"Going to record a song today. It's weird that second album has already started."

Drummer Tristan Evans also shared a photograph of himself earlier today (April 30) sitting at his kit and confirmed that the band is back in the studio by tweeting: "Recording time, but where are my orange sticks? #BlameJoe."
