The Vamps' James on his career: 'I'm petrified and unsure of this world'

'Can We Dance' hitmakers The Vamps have enjoyed incredible success over the past 12 months, but guitarist James McVey has now revealed that it's 'petrifying' to be in his position at times.

Writing on his official Twitter page in the earlier hours of the morning (May 12), member James McVey told his fans that this career path is daunting, but he's loving every second of it: "Stepping into a world I'm not so sure of. I am petrified. I don't know where this will go but it makes me feel alive like I've never felt."

He also suggested that there will be some fan-based events happening next year as a follower asked, "would you rather go to every single tour date for The Vamps headline tour and never meet them or go to one and be able to meet them," and he publicly replied:

"The first one... Because we have some exciting things planned for next year ;) @TheVampsJaclyn."
