The Vamps' Brad Simpson on down time: 'I sit in the bath for four days and my mum makes the best food'

While in Australia recently, British band The Vamps spoke to the country's Daily Telegraph and admitted that they're still in awe of the lifestyle they now have.

Frontman Brad Simpson was quick to explain that by definition, they're not a boyband because they all play their own instruments and have backgrounds in music: "We are a band of boys but we are not a vocal group like a boy band. We’ve played guitar for 10 years and we all play a lot of piano and wrote all of our songs so no, we are not a boy band.”

The 'Can We Dance' heartthrob went onto add that the opportunities being part of The Vamps has allowed him are out of this world and he feels incredibly lucky: "It is very surreal. We’re definitely enjoying ourselves. It is insane. These past few weeks, we’ve seen a lot of the world.”

He then admitted that downtime is something all of the lads value, and he can't wait to spend a few days home with his family as his mother always makes him great food: "I am very lucky, my mum pampers me when I go home. I just sit in the bath for four days. Mum makes the best food, basically she fills me up to go out on the road again.”
