The Vamps express excitement at 'Somebody To You' video passing half a million views

Yesterday (June 9), British pop-rockers The Vamps unveiled their new music video for 'Somebody To You' and it has already passed 625,000 views in less than 24 hours of being released.

Drummer Tristan Evans took to his official Twitter page earlier today and shared his excitement at the video's fast-growing popularity: "Woaahhhh, thanks for getting somebody to you at half a million views over night! Thats crazy!"

A tweet was also shared from the band's collective page, which read: "Woke up to find that 'Somebody To You' has nearly had half a million views! That's crazy! please keep sharing it!"

Guitarist James McVey, meanwhile, called for fans to stop being so judgemental about the girls cast in their music videos after some backlash surrounding the beauties that feature in 'Somebody To You' and told his followers that they're brought in by acting agencies:

"We don't pick the guys and girls who appear in our music videos. They are trained actors and actresses casted by the director. Wish people who claim to be fans would support us at each step, we try unbelievably hard to make your happy with these videos!"

Last night, The Vamps told their fans in America and Mexico to keep an eye out for some exciting upcoming announcements: "Hey USA and Canada and Mexico! We didn't forget about you guys...got some MAJOR stuff to announce next week!!"
