The Vamps reveal how they try to get girls' attention

British pop-rockers The Vamps have opened up about how they try to get girls' attention in a new interview with Top Of The Pops magazine.

When asked how he approaches girls, bassist Connor Ball confessed that he is quite shy so situations like that make him really anxious: "I’m so shy, so I’m awful at that. The silliest thing I have done to get a girl’s attention is tap her on the back."

Frontman Brad Simpson, meanwhile, likes to take a more straightforward and confident approach: “If I’m on stage and see a hot girl, I might point at her and wink…”. Guitarist James McVey then added that he doesn't even try: "I’m not very good at that kind of thing."

Drummer Tristan Evans recalled an awkward incident where he asked a girl for her email address because she told him that she didn't have a phone, and she declined the offer in front of a group of her friends.
