The Vamps talk about dating app Tinder: 'James doesn't use it properly'

'Wild Heart' hitmakers The Vamps have revealed that they are all familiar with online dating app Tinder, but they're not sure it's the right way for them to meet potential girlfriends despite trying.

The band's guitarist, James McVey, confessed that he has Tinder although hasn't found it to be very fruitful: "I've got it, but it's not been very... um...!" Brad Simpson then interjected and revealed that McVey doesn't even look at it properly and just swipes 'no' before giving anyone a chance.

Drummer Tristan Evans admitted that it's not really an app he likes, adding that it's very superficial and isn't really his cup of tea: 'It's quite bad though, in a way, isn't it? It's quite mean."

When asked if he has a girlfriend, McVey said: "No! That's why I'm on Tinder, man. Everyone thinks it's all fun, but it's just covering up deeper insecurities."
