The Vamps' James: 'If 10% of my followers buy our new single we could be No.1'

Guitarist James McVey, of The Vamps fame, has called for fans to buy copies of their brand new single 'Somebody To You', which features Demi Lovato.

The track will be officially released on July 7 and the 'Wild Heart' star took to his Twitter page this afternoon (July 1) to ask the band's followers to pick up a copy as they would love to reach No.1 on the UK Top 40 singles chart:

"So grateful for all those who have bought 'Somebody To You'.. It's out so soon... I'm nervous. What's crazy is that if 10% of my followers bought the single, we could get a number one! Ahhh please keep sharing :)"

Meanwhile, drummer Tristan Evans recently spoke out about what the lads look for in potential girlfriends and confessed that they're all turned off by girls who try too hard: "Modesty is amazing, someone who's really trying to be cool is like, it's such a turn off."
