The Vamps confirm one-off free Birmingham show

'Wild Heart' heartthrobs The Vamps have just confirmed a special one-off performance that will take place tomorrow (July 9) at The Rainbow in Digbeth, Birmingham.

The news was announced earlier this evening live on Free Radio and the lads will perform at 5pm on Wednesday evening although the venue has a strict 'first come, first served' policy where admission to the show is concerned.

Graphic designer Kris Askey created the poster for the event (pictured left) and he shared it via Twitter along with the caption: "Anyone up for a Free @TheVampsband gig tomorrow? I made a pretty poster >>> “@wearefreeradio: #FreeRadioVampsGig."

Last week, meanwhile, the group sat down for an interview with Pressparty and member Tristan Evans opened up about their newly confirmed 2015 arena tour and the fact that a number of tickets boast a significantly reduced price of £9.50 so that their dates don't exclude fans who can't afford to attend:

"Yeah, it’s crazy. We get the pleasure to announce we’re doing an arena tour. It’s so surreal and we never thought that would happen. We’re kind of all a bit shocked as well. It’s really important for us and for the fans to come – as many as possible – and usually, tickets are quite expensive. We’ve all been in the situation where we’ve wanted to go and see a band, but we don’t have enough money to so we wanted to make it available to as many people as we can."
