The Vamps: 'It has been a year since 'Can We Dance' came out, we'll never forget the support'

British pop-rock group The Vamps have revealed that they can't believe it has been a year since they released their breakthrough single, 'Can We Dance'.

The track enjoyed great success in the band's native UK and member James McVey took to his official Twitter page very late last night (August 6) and thanked fans for being so supportive of their career since they burst onto the scene with that track:

"Wow. A year since can we dance UK folks. You were there from the very start. I will never forget you."

The Vamps, meanwhile, are currently in the U.S. where they're supporting singer Austin Mahone on tour although they will return to England in the next two weeks and they tweeted: "In just over 2 weeks we will be back in the UK doing our thang."

The band will kick off their UK tour on September 23 at Sheffield City Hall and the jaunt is set to run until October 18, when it comes to a close at the BIC in Bournemouth.
