The Vamps on their chemistry as a band: 'We knew it was something special right away'

'Wild Heart' heartthrobs The Vamps have revealed that as well as having a solid working relationship with each other, they have all become really close friends and this makes their music as good as it can be.

Speaking to Global’s 'The Morning Show' recently, frontman Brad Simpson explained that the chemistry was there from the beginning and they've only grown closer and stronger as a band, which is great for their collective career:

"We kind of knew that we had something really good just because we got on very well on a personal level and on a musical level, so the songwriting was really good and the friendship was really good."

Simpson also addressed the 'boyband' tag they often find themselves facing, adding: "It’s very easy to label (us) a boy band but a boy band would be typically a vocal group, so like four singers. But we’re a band.” James McVey, the group's guitarist, said: "I mean, we have a lead singer, we play instruments.”
