The Vamps' Tristan: 'We're planning our UK tour on the road in America'

Later this year, pop-rockers The Vamps will hit the road for their very own UK headlining tour and they have been finalising plans for it while doing a run of dates in the USA in support of Austin Mahone.

Member Tristan Evans, who drums for the 'Wild Heart' hitmakers, took to his official Twitter page this evening and told his followers that they're making exciting arrangements for the jaunt and can't wait for the shows to kick off:

"Working on our UK tour whilst on the road here! So excited for you to see it! x"

The first date will take place at Sheffield's City Hall on September 23 and it will end at the London Eventim Apollo on October 15. Earlier this spring, Connor Ball spoke to Pressparty about the band's aims for their headlining run and admitted that they were hoping to take inspiration from different acts' live shows they enjoyed and incorporate them into their own set-up:

"We’d like to take different aspects of different people’s tours and put our own stamp on it, we’ll take ideas from a few things, I guess. We’re thinking about it through this year. We have two weeks of rehearsals before the tour, so we’ll see what happens. We’ve got a few ideas so far! Really looking forward to putting these plans into actions! It’ll be good!"
