The Vamps weigh in on 'The X Factor': 'We'll probably make an appearance at some stage'

'Wild Heart' hitmakers The Vamps have revealed that it's likely they'll make a live appearance on 'The X Factor' at some point this season.

Guitarist James McVey told Yahoo! OMG that they've been in talks to perform on the popular vocal talent show, but they can't confirm anything at the moment: “We will be making an appearance at some stage but, whether it's on which show [X Factor or The Xtra Factor], we don't know."

He went onto give his opinion on this year's season of the show, adding that he has his favourite contestants: "I have [been watching it] this year. It's been hard though on tour [to catch up]. I really like Andrea. Oh my God, I love him! I really liked Emily [Middlemas], the little Scottish girl who played guitar, she didn't get through to the live shows though, but she was good.”

Earlier today, the boys confessed that they would love to put on more standing shows because fans seem to be more excited at the prospect of being more active at concerts: "Hammersmith Apollo was always the one that we’d wanted to play and now we’ve sold that out twice. I like Wembley Arena too, that’s a wicked venue. In the future we’d love to start doing standing shows ‘cos that’s we’ve seen that a lot of the fans want, but this tour’s been wicked."
