The Vamps' James clarifies reality TV appearance rumours

'Wild Heart' hitmaker James McVey, of The Vamps fame, has revealed that he and the band won't be appearing on 'I'm A Celebrity' although he would have loved to be on the show.

The star recently told Yahoo! OMG that The Vamps might be performing on one of the reality TV shows in the near future, but hinted that it's more likely to be a musical programme: “We will be making an appearance at some stage but, whether it's on which show [X Factor or The Xtra Factor], we don't know."

He has now clarified the reports that suggest his group will be on 'I'm A Celebrity' and posted a message to Twitter, which read: "I want to do @imacelebrity... Just seen rumours we are doing @imacelebrity ... I WISH. Sorry to disappoint folks."

The Vamps, meanwhile, have just extended their 2015 arena tour and added a new show at Glasgow's Hydro arena to their schedule, which will take place on April 17 with tickets on sale for the concert now.
