The Vamps' James: 'Three years ago I met Brad Simpson and things have changed so much'

'Wild Heart' hitmakers The Vamps have enjoyed amazing success over the past year since releasing their debut single 'Can We Dance' and member James McVey revealed that today marks the three year anniversary of the day he met frontman Brad Simpson online.

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier today (October 24), the heartthrob explained that he's so glad to have met Simpson and he's happy to celebrate having known the frontman for a few years now:

"Three years ago to the day that I found and messaged @TheVampsBrad... Very weird thinking what's changed in that time. Love you man."

On October 23, the band's drummer Tristan Evans told his Twitter followers that he was recognising the 14th anniversary of playing percussion: "It's weird to think that i've been playing drums for 14 years! Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout!"

The lads, meanwhile, recently announced details of a UK arena tour for 2015 and they sold out their upcoming concert at London's iconic O2 Arena in just 45 minutes, which is amazing considering the venue has a capacity of 20,000.
