The Vamps hold Twitter takeover and reveal which bands they think fans should check out

Earlier this afternoon (November 18), British pop-rock band The Vamps did a Twitter takeover with MTV and answered a series of fans' questions.

One question saw followers wanting to know what inspired the heartthrobs to make music and frontman Brad Simpson explained:

"We were inspired to make music by other musicians like AC/DC, Florida Georgia Line, Blink-182 and Shawn Mendes."

When asked to recommend artists fans could check out, bassist Connor Ball said: "You should listen to Deaf Havana". Brad Simpson suggested Hozier and drummer Tristan Evans recommended Florida Georgia Line.

Next week on November 27, the group will perform live at Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day Parade and they have also added another live date to their busy schedule, which will take place in Manchester on December 4 at the Key 103 Christmas Live even.
