The Vamps' manager growing a beard to raise money for charity

Joe O'Neill (pictured left), manager of British pop-rock band The Vamps, has decided to grow a beard for Christmas in order to raise money for a special cause

Writing on their official Twitter page this afternoon (December 2), the heartthrobs explained that fans should support O'Neill's efforts as he has chosen to donate money raised to The Woodlands Academy, which is a school for children with Special Educational Needs:

"We made @JoeJONeill grow a beard for Xmas. Pls go support and donate to his chosen charity here. #JoesChristmasBeard."

The Vamps, meanwhile, are also helping out a charity called Teens For Jeans and are encouraging schools to donate pairs of lightly worn jeans to the organisation, which will donate them to homeless teenagers in the USA.

Tweeting about the campaign yesterday (December 1), they explained: "Excited to join @dosomething & @Aeropostale for #TeensForJeans. Sign up now at http://TeensForJeans.com and collect jeans for homeless teens. The school that collects the most jeans for #TeensForJeans will win a performance at their school from us!"
