The Vamps on how to tell your best friend that their boyfriend or girlfriend sucks

British pop-rock band The Vamps have given fans advice on how to tell their friends that they have an annoying boyfriend or girlfriend.

Speaking to MTV News about the touchy subject, the heartthrobs admitted that it's best to proceed with caution and consider you friend's feelings, but also make sure you're not dishonest:

"You want to start off slow, I think. I don’t think you want to just smash it in their because they’re going to be a bit wounded. You don’t want to drop the bomb straight away. So usually you just kind of put subtle hints like, ‘She’s not the good, right? She’s not that great, man.’"

Drummer Tristan Evans confessed that another good method is to cleanse social media of their accounts: "You block them on all social media platforms."

Earlier this month, meanwhile, The Vamps opened up about their dream collaborations and confessed that there are a few acts they want to work with: "Demi was a bit of a dream, but our dream duet would probably be Ed Sheeran and Dave Grohl."
