The Vamps on their debut U.S. album release: 'It's great to give back to such supportive fans'

'Wild Heart' hitmakers The Vamps have revealed that dropping their impressive offering 'Meet The Vamps' in America is an achievement they're really proud of.

Speaking to MTV News about releasing their debut album in the USA, frontman Brad Simpson explained that it's amazing because they've had a lot of support from their stateside followers:

"I think it’s nice just to give back. I feel like the fans that have been supporting us in the U.S. since they’ve known us, whether it’s the YouTube covers, they’ve been very supportive and have been waiting for this."

The singer and guitarist went onto add: "So it’s nice to just give that music back."

The lads, meanwhile, are working on their sophomore record and told Digital Spy that they're 'experimenting' with their sound: "We did 12 songs in a short period of time. We've been trying out so many different things. I think we're going to wait and see what we get back and see how it is. We tried that Magic! 'Rude' vibe for a couple, then there were a few ideas the producers had and we were like, 'Let's just try it out'.

"It was very different - like urban, one of them! I think it's good for us to just try everything and then when we get them back, we will know what we want to do. We have until March to hone in on exactly what we want. Then there were a few which were more like the Police kind of vibe, which would be good for the second album."
