The Vamps to perform at Miss World finale

British pop-rock band The Vamps will round off their incredibly successful year with a performance at the finale of the Miss World competition, which will take place in London next week.

The boys will treat the audience to a rendition of 'Somebody To You' at the Excel Centre on December 14 and speaking about the appearance in a statement, they explained: "We are thrilled to be involved in such a prestigious event that is seen by millions of people all around the world. It will be an incredible way to round of 2014 which has been such a crazy year for us."

This event will be the 64th edition of the Miss World pageant and LMFAO's Sky Blu is also confirmed to perform live. The show will be broadcast live across the world at 2.30pm (GMT).

Earlier this week, meanwhile, The Vamps told Digital Spy that they're experimenting with styles for their next studio album: "We did 12 songs in a short period of time. We've been trying out so many different things. I think we're going to wait and see what we get back and see how it is. We tried that Magic! 'Rude' vibe for a couple, then there were a few ideas the producers had and we were like, 'Let's just try it out'.

"It was very different - like urban, one of them! I think it's good for us to just try everything and then when we get them back, we will know what we want to do. We have until March to hone in on exactly what we want. Then there were a few which were more like the Police kind of vibe, which would be good for the second album."
