The Vamps' Tristan enjoys downtime in stunning Mexico

British pop-rock band The Vamps have been enjoying a well-deserved break over the Christmas period and drummer Tristan Evans has been lucky enough to spend some time in Mexico.

Last night, Evans told his fans that he was "visiting Chichen Itza today" and added that he was excited about the trip to see the 2nd most visited archeological site of Mexico. He has since returned to the social networking site to share a snapshot of himself (shown below) at the base of the pyramid of Kukulkan, which is also known as El Castillo.

The 'Can We Dance' heartthrob, meanwhile, told his followers that he's looking forward to The Vamps' upcoming world tour and he is missing life on the road: "So excited to kick off the world tour in a couple of weeks, hello Australia."

The boys will perform at the Hordern Pavillion in Melbourne, Australia on January 23 and will finish the run on January 30 at the HBF Stadium in Perth.
