The Vamps enjoy adorable day out at Sydney zoo

British pop-rock band The Vamps just touched down in Australia for the start of their world tour and they spent a day visiting animals at one of Sydney's zoos.

Member James McVey took to his official Twitter page earlier today (January 19) and told his followers that he and the rest of the lads enjoyed a great day out at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney: "Wow! What an amazing day at @tarongazoo Sydney. Thanks to the lovely staff for making the day so special."

Brad Simpson also shared a photograph of himself at the zoo and added: "It's bloody lovely to be in Australia :) here's me getting my face licked by a lovely lady called Autumn."

On January 22, the 'Wild Heart' hitmakers will perform live on Australia's Sunrise and their new headlining tour is due to begin a day later at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on January 23.

At the end of last year, the heartthrobs told Young Hollywood that they're excited for this new jaunt because they have 'bigger and better' production: "It's a world tour - it's awesome. We can't wait to go into production and to make the show better. We're going to Australia, Japan, and Manila..."
