The Vamps love getting 'really cool' fan mail

British pop-rock band The Vamps have opened up about the love shown to them by their fans and confessed that they always enjoy the mail and presents they receive.

Drummer Tristan Evans revealed to IB Times that they're really spoiled by the amazing letters and gifts sent to them by fans: "I went through some fan mail the other day, it was really cool nice. It was like roses and foreign sweets for Valentine's Day."

The heartthrobs were then asked if they would consider branching out into acting as they made a cameo on British soap opera 'Hollyoaks' last year and seemed to enjoy it.

Evans explained: "We're not actors, but we kind of love to be open minded. We'll do stuff... act... and we'll either be awful or shocking. Usually both."

During the same interview, the stars were asked to address the boyband tag that follows them around and confessed that they just don't fit the mold: "(We're) a girl band. We're a band of boys, obviously, but I think a boyband is associated with straight up five singers... a vocal group. We're a band. We have a drummer, a lead guitarist, bassist, lead singer and rhythm guitarist."
