The Vamps adding 'electronic' edge to new material

The Vamps have revealed that some of their new songs feature an "electronic" vibe.

The pop-rock quartet are currently working on the follow-up to their 2014 debut album 'Meet The Vamps'.

Speaking in a new interview with Sugarscape, the Brits said that they working on music that is a bit "different" to their previous effort.

Brad Simpson said: "We started working on it about two months ago and the past three weeks have been actually intense, writing for the album. It's sounding really good; it's a bit different. There's always pressure on bands for their second album."

When asked what song off their debut album sounds like their new album the most, the singer added:

"'Risk It All', I'd say. But then it's a bit electronic; like MGMT synths."

Tristan Evans chimed in: "We've done a lot in LA with Max Martin and that camp. He's really cool because back in the day he was in a band as well. We love the fact that he wants to work with other bands."

Simpson added that the band have also worked with Savan Kotecha, Steve Mac and Wayne Hector.
