The Vamps' James reveals favourite school subject

James McVey, guitarist with The Vamps, has revealed that he enjoyed being at school and loved learning.

Speaking to antibullyingpro.com about his classroom experiences, the heartthrob admitted that he loved discussing literature and ideas with fellow students: "I took triple english at school and I always remember loving the debates we would have in class about how one could interpret a piece of literature differently."

McVey also confessed that he met other kids at school who were passionate about music and they used to jam together: "I think the biggest help from school with regards to music was school bands - I met other musicians in school and we would come together and jam out a few songs. I guess that's where I started to learn how to play guitar."

The star then added that he took packed lunches with him every day, but would look forward to the canteen's pizza when he had enough spare change: "I didn't have cooked school meals, so I tended to eat pizza from the school tuck shop when I had spare change haha!"
