The Vamps write an emotional ballad

British pop-rockers The Vamps are currently working hard on their sophomore album and they recently revealed that they penned a ballad for the offering.

Last night (March 29), drummer Tristan Evans confessed that he was feeling emotional after writing a ballad with frontman Brad Simpson and tweeted: "Just recorded a ballad with brad. I'm crying like a baba."

Back at the beginning of the month, the heartthrobs explained that their new material has a different sound than the songs on their debut offering and teased that they've been toying with an 'electronic' edge:

"We started working on it about two months ago and the past three weeks have been actually intense, writing for the album. It's sounding really good; it's a bit different. There's always pressure on bands for their second album. 'Risk It All', I'd say. But then it's a bit electronic; like MGMT synths."
