The Vamps have announced a gig at Edinburgh Castle.

The Brits will play at the iconic venue on July 18.

Tickets for the event will go on sale from 9am UK time on April 18.

The Vamps meanwhile are currently working on the follow-up to their 2014 debut album 'Meet The Vamps.

Speaking previously about their new material's sound, singer Brad Simpson said:

"We started working on it about two months ago and the past three weeks have been actually intense, writing for the album. It's sounding really good; it's a bit different.

"There's always pressure on bands for their second album. 'Risk It All', I'd say. But then it's a bit electronic; like MGMT synths."
